Details: RSA Data Protection Manager is susceptible to multiple vulnerabilities that could be potentially exploited by malicious users to compromise the affected systems. The vulnerabilities are: Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability (CVE-2012-4612) CVSS v2 Base Score: 6.8 (AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P) Improper restriction of authentication attempts for OS lever user accounts (CVE-2012-4613) CVSS v2 Base Score: 6.9 (AV:L/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C). Note: This issue only affects RSA Data Protection Manager Appliance (Virtual and Hardware) This hot fix also updates multiple embedded components within the RSA Data Protection Manager Appliance and Virtual Appliance to address security vulnerabilities and other generic bugs.
