EMC OneFS contains a security fix to address a privilege escalation vulnerability in the RPC daemon. An attacker may potentially exploit this vulnerability by modifying system files to escalate their privileges on the affected system.

EMC recommends that all customers upgrade to a version containing the fix at the earliest opportunity.
