The vulnerability could be exploited by an authorized user to gain unauthorized access possibly leading to elevation of privilege. BACKGROUND A potential vulnerability has been identified with HP Version Control Agent which could allow a user who is properly authenticated to the HP Version Control Agent to gain unauthorized access to the HP Version Control Repository Manager account on a remote system. RESOLUTION HP has provided HP Version Control Agent version 2.1.5 or subsequent to resolve this issue.
