Patch 105162 (Security Patch). Security Advisory Updated November 12, 2010 This advisory was originally communicated in June 2008. Summary: A potential cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in RSA® Adaptive Authentication (On Premise) versions 2.x and 5.7.x. Specifically a Flash Shockwave file provided by the Adaptive Authentication system could be exploited in certain limited circumstances. Description: CVE Identifier: CVE-2008-7266 To mitigate this issue, RSA released a patch in 2008 that was made available from RSA SecurCare® Online and is still available now, if needed. Affected Products: RSA Adaptive Authentication (On Premise) versions 2.x and 5.7.x may be impacted. Unaffected Products: The vulnerability does not affect 6.x versions. Recommendation: We strongly recommend that customers who have not already obtained the mentioned patch or a later patch (which contains the Flash Shockwave file) obtain the patch from RSA SecurCare® Online.
